Then, any map was a good visual aid or prop to help the game go along.

Hi Amraphael,

I am struggling with thinking of more placeables at the moment. Maybe I will have more sparks of inspriration when I go back to it. ;) Alternatively, I will concentrate on just adding secret goodies and locations to help make the travelling less "boring". Fortunately, I hope my next "map" will be more exciting for both me to design and the player to use.

I hope to have the chance to read those series later. :) I just tried this series first (as it appeared to be the first) and found I liked them. :) Good to hear they keep interesting until the end. :)

Thanks for your continued search for the light fault. It does appear strange that it has a problem. I admit I do not have any great knowledge of effect stuff, but I could not see anything wrong just by looking at what you had done. Hopefully, it will be something that comes to light (pardon the pun) when you start from scratch then. :)

Lance.Lance Botelle (Bard of Althéa)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16124192098553066324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8776163819760508132.post-88346164694774816532009-10-09T20:12:06.566+01:002009-10-09T20:12:06.566+01:00Hi

The map looks good and will surely look even better when filled with more placeables.

I really liked the Farseer books and have recently been reading the Liveship series and the Tawny man series from the same "universe". I often find that long series lose there edge but they kept me interested until the end.

I have been looking into the strange behavior of the light staff but couldn't find the problem. I'll try to make it from scratch and see if it's corrupt someway.Amraphaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11831382638321957822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8776163819760508132.post-86783834639407569212009-10-09T15:26:51.070+01:002009-10-09T15:26:51.070+01:00You know it's old school when the graph paper ...You know it's old school when the graph paper starts showing up. ;)

I think the map looks good--it needs goodies and stuff, but the raw design of it looks fine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
